wolves
Hyunsu is so effortlessly sexy when he's asleep. The gentle rise and fall of his chest, the innocent unguarded expression on his face... His ignorance of the intensity to which Uimyeong watches him and his total lack of desire to ever rest when Hyunsu is near.
The two of them share a bed- not because of lack of space, or lack of additional bedding... But because no matter how many times Hyunsu gently points out that there is more than one bed in a room, Uimyeong will always refuse to lay anywhere else that isn't immediately beside him. He is so unsure and awkward in his interactions that even though he stiffens uncomfortably when Uimyeong crawls in behind him and wraps his arms around him, he doesn't dare to utter a word.
That's what's so cute about Hyunsu. He is very much still the awkward kid he always was, even though it's so clear that the two of them were and are meant to be together- only the two of them.
He doesn't even mind that throughout the night, Hyunsu has done his unconscious best to fight his way out of Uimyeong's grip- there's nowhere else for his body to go, and he's backed against the wall. His only choices are to brain himself, or face Uimyeong and open himself to his affection. Of course, it always ends up the latter. No matter what choice Hyunsu would prefer when he's awake, his sleeping body is always honest.
Uimyeong keeps a warm hand resting against Hyunsu's side, impatiently pushing his shirt up to touch his bare skin. Of course, he will go no further than this. Hyunsu's resolve is already weak, and he doesn't need the force of Uimyeong on him for Uimyeong to inevitably get his own way. He traces along the ridges of Hyunsu's muscles, soft but present, feeling the way his body rises and falls with every gentle inhale and exhale.
He leans in close enough to suck in Hyunsu's every breath, close enough to count every one of his eyelashes, close enough to whisper against his skin.
"Cha Hyunsu."
Barely more than a whisper of breath fanned out against Hyunsu's cheek, and while Hyunsu doesn't shift, a slight flutter of his eyelids lets Uimyeong know he's listening to him, however subconsciously.
He strokes more of Hyunsu's skin, goosebumps breaking out wherever his fingers pass.
"You know we are made to be together, right?"
His hand travels higher, up Hyunsu's chest, resting over the top of his heart.
"Wolves always travel in packs. A lone wolf is a dead wolf."
He scratches his nails gently on Hyunsu's skin, leaning in to rest his forehead against Hyunsu's, closing his eyes.
"You can feel it, right?"
A warmth deep inside his chest, something that ties the two of them together, stronger than any rope. He opens his eyes, finds Hyunsu sleepily gazing back at him. His expression is unguarded, but unsure. Uimyeong can feel his heart quicken slightly under his fingers, and Hyunsu makes attempts to look away.
He swallows somewhat nervously, but nods his head. Uimyeong grins.
